Crop an A4 / Letter label to 4 Γ— 6

When a carrier only gives you a full-page PDF, crop it in 30 seconds online, in Preview (Mac) or in Acrobat Reader (Windows).

Option 1 β€” Online (any computer)

  1. Open pdfresizer.com/crop, choose the label PDF and click Upload files!

  2. Click AutoCrop, then Crop it.

  4. Open the downloaded PDF in your browser and print.

  5. Paper size 4 Γ— 6, scale Fit to printable area.

Option 2 β€” Mac Preview

  1. Open the PDF in Preview.
  2. Click the Markup (pencil) icon, then the Rectangular Selection tool.
  3. Drag a box around the label and choose Tools β†’ Crop (⌘+K).
  4. Print with paper size 4 Γ— 6 in.

Option 3 β€” Adobe Acrobat Reader (Windows)

  1. Open the PDF in Acrobat Reader (free download).
  2. Edit β†’ Take a Snapshot (older versions: Tools β†’ Select & Zoom β†’ Snapshot Tool).

  3. Drag around the label. The selection turns blue.

  4. Click the printer icon: the snapshot is printed. Set paper size 4 Γ— 6.

Tip

Cropping is a workaround. Where possible, switch your platform to 4 Γ— 6 labels so no cropping is needed β€” platform guides.
